We advocate for the rights of survivors who have experienced abuse in state care.Our team works tirelessly to drive systemic change, tackling the root causes of harm and ensuring survivors and their whānau are heard at a national level through a unified, collective voice.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
There are significant gaps in support for adult survivors of abuse in state care, and NZCAST works to bridge them.
We’ve built a survivor-led peer network and provide one-to-one follow-up support, creating continuous pathways of care and a genuine sense of community for and with survivors.
